What happens during breast augmentation surgery?

You will be asleep during your surgery due to the application of general anesthesia. A small incision is made under the breast or on the areola. The doctor will separate the tissue or the muscle to place the implant on your breasts.

Which type of implants do you work with?

We have FDA approved brands of implants, we work with silicone implants (FDA approved for women of 22 years old or more).

The implants are made of texturized cohesive gel brand named Nagor. The size can be determined the day of surgery once you speak with your surgeon. We have a stock of all sizes, so whichever you choose will be here and ready. They are gummy bear type implants.

Which are the differences between placing the implant under the tissue or under the muscle?

Subglandular (under tissue) placement of implants are very common within our patients because the discomfort and recovery after surgery are shorter, and the pain could be less than the pain after a submuscular procedure. Although to place the implant under the muscle (submuscular), gives the breast a more natural look for those patients that are very thin.
